Insurance

Secondary approved Aetna but primary denied anyone had this happen ? And does secondary usually pay like a primary would

    I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure lol that if your primary denies you, or it isn't a covered procedure under that plan that your secondary will still cover it. you just may have some co pays since there will be no other insurance to pick up whatever the other does not cover. I hope that I made sense.

    Yes that's pretty much sounds like what Aetna told me yesterday thanks so glad I had them as secondary now just waiting for phone call for date so excited!

    Aetna is my primary and they denied me. Twice. united healthcare is my secondary and they approved me so its a go for me :-). Not sure how much they will pay but at this point I don't care! Lol
