  6. No, the psychologist shouldn't be the one to say no based on the diets you have tried. He is not a MD. They want to make sure you are mentally stable. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. He just rambled off a bunch of diet programs an pills and if I had tried one I just said yes. That was it. Their job is basically to say yes, you are mentally stable and are having the surgery for the right reasons or no you're not. And from there they make a decision to clear you for surgery from a mental health stand point or say surgery isn't the right choice for you at this time. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. He had me fill our a paper with tons of questions. It said it was a personality assessment. He asked about my family.. My kids and husband. Asked about health problems, and brief family history. Why I want the surgery. It wasn't bad at all. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  23. Hi all.. Im confused and frustrated. I have a primary and a secondary insurance. First I was told that neither required the medically supervised diet, so I thought I was good to go... I thought I'd be having surgery in a couple of months. Now another insurance rep for my primary is saying that I DO need to do a 6 month supervised diet. Does anyone know if I can just use my secondary insurance so I can have surgery soon.
  24. Thanks for the well wishes all Sent from my iPhone using VST
