I had my leak within a week of my surgery. (Prob went home with it). I spiked a temp and had severe left side pain

I saw pics and reports from the surgeries to place my stent My leak was caused from a staple that came out closest to where my stomach met my esophagus. My dr said that is unusual. Norm is the tissue between the staples that leak.

I won't go into all I went through but have spent a total 2.5 mths in the hospital. (Most recent readmitted in March). I am on disability still until May. But after my last admission starting to feel better and actually going to the gym. Cardio only.

Good luck. I hope you have a safe recovery.
