Vitamix blender

Hey there I'm thinking of buying a blender/juicer for my pre and post op diets. I like the vitamix but really want to be able to juice fruits and veggies. Anyone have one and can you juice with it

      Can I say thy blendtec is a mighty blender as well.right up there with the vitamix (mine was 499 - designer series) and is pretty amazing. Much smaller than the vitamix too and fits under the counter

    Thank you all for your comments. I decided to go with vitamix and made my first smotthie tonight. Spinach apples pineapple and melon. Yummy! Any suggestions on a protein powder that's flavorless. I'm not a fan of the flavors

    Not sure what others think, but I used a Designer whey product for a while. It is flavorless. I haven't used it since puree stage so don't remember much about it.

    Yes, I use that, too--got it at Vitamin Shoppe. It's neutral tasting as well.
