Medicaid

Has anyone here gotten the lap-band with medicaid? I found a doctor who will do it. I talked to him yesterday. He just moved here and just as of the 1st opened a clinic. He is gonna file all the papers but he dont think medicaid will pay for it?

Hence he is trying to talk me inot ruenX and that scares me... Help

    Have you called Medicaid and asked if they cover the surgery and then ask them for a list of docs that perform the surgery?
