I've been hearing about PB2 at support groups and even seen where people have posted about it here on our forum. Today I finally, after almost 3 yrs., gotten some. Now what??!!! :D

I just mixed up a serving 45 CALORIES vs 200 calories!!! I smeared it on a graham cracker, I have to say, it's pretty darn good. I am use to Natural Peanut Butter, and it's only salt and peanuts....so this is not much different, 1 gr of sugar per serving is the only difference. It does taste different, but it is good. To me, it's like I picked up a different brand than what I'm use to.

What else can I do with it? Any ideas, suggestions? I'd love a recipe to bake peanut butter cookies! Something a little lower fat!!!

I like to add just a pinch of salt and stevia to mine.. Like TEEENY pinch.. Then I like to eat it with "banana ice cream" that I make by running a frozen banana through my auger style juicer with the blank plate on (you could also make the banana ice cream by putting a frozen banana in a vitamix with a few splashes of milk) OMG.. it's heaven!

I've seen some people using PB2 to make Protein bars.. (like with oats, milk Protein powder and pb2) Once I'm at that stage I'll give it a try.

Thanks y'all - great ideas! Just an FYI - type in PB2 from Pinterest and there are a LOT of recipes. Some would be fine for us, others we'd want to avoid, but there are recipes!!! You have no idea how excited I am that I finally gave this a try!! I also got bananas, not to use with this, but just because. Will work out great!

PB2 is great if you want something that's good and peanutty without all the extra "stuff". I sprinkle it on things, I've been known to make a peanut sauce with it to have with curry seasoned chicken if I want something reminiscent of satay, it's all good!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
