    My surgery is April 9 th. I start my liquid diet on Monday. So excited and ready to start my life again without diabetes.

    my surgery was april10th, how are you doing? I'm finding the Protein shakes to be horrible. Any suggestions? Congrats on the new beginning !!

    I'm doing good...moving around a lot. I'm still feeling some pain on my right side but its tolerable. I just mixed up 11oz premier chocolate Protein shake, 1/4 banana, 2Tbsp Peanut Butter, 6-8 ice cubes and blend its delicious. Try that maybe you'll like it. I still have a hard time getting my protein in but I'm trying. I get in probably around 30-40g a day. I need 60-70g, so I really need to work on it.
