Protein

I read an article that talks about how to get the metabolism you had at 20 yrs old.

It says women should divide their weight in half and that is the amount of grams of Protein we should eat everyday.

If this is true for even us overweight people that is a lot of protein. The article then mentions that too much protein gets stored as fat. Any thoughts or information about this..please respond.

Thanks

Too much of anything gets stored as fat.

In the western world we all get enough Protein without trying. Too much protein can be a problem but in reasonable amounts it wont hurt you as long as it doesnt come at the expense of a balanced diet in total.

That figuring would put me at 90grams of protein per day and I'd hazard a guess I dont get that, but I"m still living and breathing and perfectly healthy.
