What to Expect from Liquid Diet?

Hi all,

I'm on day 3 of a 7 day liquid diet. So far I'm doing ok. I'm getting lots of Protein in my drinks. I've lost 9 lbs. I'm on the diet to shrink my liver. I don't have to lose a certain amount prior to surgery or anything.

But, out of curiosity, I'm wondering what your pro op liquid diet experiences were?

I wanted to eat everything and anything. I felt like if I was never going to eat again. And I cheated like 5 days out of 8. But everything was good at the end. I been sleeve to day do 3 weeks. Good luck

So far so good for me. I'm taking it more as a challenge - gotta be able to do this to stick to the after life style. But, I admit I nearly cried when I watched my family eat dinner last night and then again, over and over as I saw food commercials on. :(
