March 18th!

I'm officially scheduled for March 18th at Duke hospital down here in NC! I'm super excited about this journey we're all taking and the awesomeness of this forum. How else can we learn from people who actually get it? At any rate, I look forward to all of us making this month be OUR month! :D

I'm down 2 lbs since surgery on the 18th. I did a survey on another conversation about the first 5 weeks and it seems like a pound a day is the most common answer with some much higher and lower.

How is everyone doing today? I have 1 more week of full liquid and then on to puree I have had a difficult time and the last 2 days with trying to get enough liquid. I have been trying my best to get in all that I should. I know I will get better

I've been struggling with fluids so I just got some good old normal gatorade. I got my full 64 today including water and gatorade. A few calories won't kill me right?

I have my 2 weeks post OP appt tomorrow. Should get moved to soft foods from full liquids - hooray! How's everyone doing?

My Post OP appt is on Thursday.. and i must say.. i'm slipping with the fluid intake.. i have been concentrating on doing better.. but my appetite is ZERO.. i know i know.. i've gotta do better... le sigh

Hi everyone! I was sleeved 3/18 n today was my first post-op appt n I'm down 15lbs plus 15 before surgery so that's 30lbs so far. Yayy!! I was just advanced to puree foods today. I had a scrambled egg with a few bites of cottage cheese. I'm curious as to what else everybody was given an ok to eat.
