What Are You Doing to Prepare for Surgery?

Hey all, I'm just curious to see what everyone is doing to get prepared for the surgery.

So far all I've done is arrange childcare for my 2 year old son. My mother is coming in from out of state to help me take care of him during the daytime while my husband is at work for the first six weeks after surgery. Oh, and I've ordered Protein Powder samples to get myself aquainted with the good flavors, as well as to know what to buy for my pre-op diet that starts on March 25th.

Other things I need to do:

- Go grocery shopping a day or two before surgery to make sure my family has food and that I have what I'll need post-op

- Sample all the Protein powders trial-sizes I've bought and settled on a couple of flavors both for my pre & post-op diets

- Schedule my pre-op appt w/ the hospital I'm being sleeved at

I'm still thinking the rest of this through as far as things I need to do. What about y'all? Any ideas on to-do's before surgery?
