Pre op colon cleanse?

I start my pre op liquid diet today, surgery is next Thursday. I want to do a cleanse so i can start anew. Any suggestions of products or a natural way to go?

I did an enema a few days before surgery. I haven't done one since post op, and I guess it's frown upon as my nurse kinda looked down her nose at me when I asked. I have a post op class in 2 weeks and will ask then.

My doc had us do the same prep that you do for a colonoscopy but it was by prescription. I would certainly follow whatever plan your doc suggests and would be worried to do something not approved by them.
