4 months Postpartum & Pre-op

I have my surgery consultation next Thursday. My mom is actually 8 months post-op from this surgery and doing great. But I'm a little nervous that the doctor will tell me he can't do the surgery since I just had a baby. Has anyone else been in this situation or know someone that has? Any advice or info is always welcomed. ????
