Port, Wire Bra and Boobs! Bad combo!

Big Boobs and wire bra's

Ok my boob saga continues! Does anyone have pain with thier port and wire bra's?

I have constant pain and I'm sure it's because of my wire bra. However I need the wire for the support. When I sit I think that the wire hits the port!

Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this one?

Oh gosh! I have the same problem! I was banded Oct 31 and I thought I was the only one! I have had problems everyday. There is a searing hot pain around my port and I cannot bear it! I hope with time it will go away! Hope yours gets better.......

I don't have that problem, but I do have a problem with the waistband of my pants hitting the port. I have to lower them before sitting, or else sit up really straight.

Are you wearing the right size bra? I ask that because according to a show on Oprah, something like 80% of women wear the wrong size bra. It seems to me that if the bra is properly fitted, with the straps in the right position, that your bra shouldn't hit the port.

Well I went to 5 stores in a week trying to get fit right and my last was was Nordstroms. She fit me and it felt good in the store. Now that I am wearing it it doesn't feel good anymore.

I thinking I may have to have a custom built bra! AHHH

I made an appointment to see my band Dr today and the receptionist said it sounds like you need a PS! I dont' think I am ready for a reduction yet but if it keeps hurting like this I guess I'll have too.

Hope you both feel better too.
