Doctors in Mississippi

Hi,

New to this board and interested in having lapband surgery. Just wondering if anyone has any information or comments on any doctors in MS. I have an appointment on 11/14 with Dr. Byars in Oxford. I am also still researching options in Mexico.

Thanks!

You didn't mention which part of the state you live in, but there are three or more dr's in Jackson. Dr Salameh in at the University, Dr David Carroll has offices at St Dominic's, but does surgery at River Oaks, and there is another at a clinic called CMMC. (I can't remember what the initials stand for - sorry).

Oops I did forget to mention where I live. I am in Lexington which is about an hour from Jackson and 2 hrs from Oxford. Thanks for the info, I actually talked to Dr. Byars today and ended up scheduling surgery for 12-28.
