Protein

Protein was unbearable to me right after the surgery! I'm 7 wks out and can just tolerate some protein drinks. What do you think the best low cal is? Also the protein meal bars! Should you be able to eat a whole one? They are 1.59 oz and meals should weigh about 3 oz right? Soany questions! This has been a blessing but also harder than I thought. I never eat and have lost 42 lbs which I thought should be more! Impatient!!

Wow, sounds like you are doing great with the weight loss. :) The protein is hard for me so I've been trying to get it with Greek Yogurt. The protein shakes make me gag as they never taste like they did before the surgery, but then again I was drinking them right after using the blender. Now it sits in the refridgerator til I can get down another ounce.
