Hi Wendiss! I'm still here :)

I have my first consultation with my surgeon today. I am so anxious to get all my pre-op done so we can get the show on the road!

Maria

Hi Wendiss,

I'm here too! I don't ever see any new posts so I almost gave up on coming here.

Hi again juno610, glad to see you're hanging in there, I know its a little late but I hope everything went well at your consultation.

Hi April! The consultation did go well. Now I'm just working on getting all my appointments done. I have to do 4 weeks of Opti-fast pre-surgery, so that'll probably be over Christmas -- yikes! I meet with the nutritionist this Tuesday, so we'll see what she thinks about that. :)

Looks like you are doing well! How do you feel about the whole thing so far?

Maria

I am scheduled for surgury in just 1 small week! I cannot believe it. Dr. Deol is my doctor and she is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think that I could be in better hands. I see all these sucess stories and it is so helpful. My mother was banded lost, 20-25 lbs, and then a year later has gastric bypass. So my biggest "fear" is that I will not lose the weight.

She was filled to the max...They just told her that she was part of the 20% that banding is just not sucessful, as far as major loss is concerned.
