Protein

Hi. I had my sleeve surgery on 12/10/12 and every since then it's really hard for me to take protein in. Is there any way I can help keep it down? Any suggestions?

Also, watch the chocolate milk, it is often very high in sugar and sugar is not your friend. I saw a bottle of Tru Moo Chocolate milk (about 8 - 10 oz.) that had 40 grams of sugar! Waaaay too much!

I don't drink the true moo now - it was just in the beginning (first week or two). It was better than getting no Protein in, sugar or not - and it worked for me.

High Protein fruity creme breakfast:

1 - 16 ounce tub of low-fat cottage cheese

1 small box sugar free Jello (any flavor)

Dissolve the jello mix in a half cup boiling Water. combine with cottage cheese in blender. blend well. Pour into four cups or dessert dishes. Chill until firm (about two hours).

Each 4 oz. serving = 85 calories, 15 grams protein.

Sounds so good! :) I'm absolutely going to try this.

Unjury unflavored protein powder 1 scoop is 21 grms 90 calories - it can be added food as long as food is not over 140 degree. You can mix it to 8 oz of your favorite beverage.
