It only took a couple of days for me to get a reply from bcbs. The first time I was denied coverage because the letter stated I didn't meet the medical criteria. So they advised me to call my doctor's office to make sure everything was included in the package. The surgery coordinator told me they never send in the whole package the first time (I guess there is some sort of trick to getting the insurance company to provide benefits). But they sent in all paperwork the second time, and I was approved! I was so relieved. I am telling you this just in case you are denied the first time so you won't feel discouraged. The process for getting the surgery is a long journey, isn't it?

Thank you my coordinator told me not to feel bad if I get denied its a matter of finding out what there asking for and getting it to them she said she will fight for me ... But hope is a couple of days that would be great cause I want the beginning of January
