Great Scales

Hello All,

Tony Little (yea, the guy aggravates me too :girl_hug: ) has a new scale that gives the weight, Body Mass AND hydration!

I saw it on hsn.com or qvc.com, can't remember which. I think it was around $59.00.

Still trying to make the decision,

Househuntress

Hi...I bought one of those scales that does weight, baody fat and hydration and I found the body fat measure grossly inaccuate. I had a body fat analysis done professionally, and while my scale was telling me I was at 43-45% body fat, the one I had done (caliper and Water displacement) had me at 33% body fat.

My trainer told me that, if I insisted on using the digital body fat scales, to understand that they are often 8-10 percentage points higher than what you actually are. Just a caveat before anyone decides to buy one.

My scales that measure body fat do the same thing...BUT they're wildly off first thing in the morning (about 10% high), but if I measure my body fat in the evening it is almost the same as when I did the underwater bodyfat measurement (within 1%)

I was told by a trainer that the swings had to do with hydration issues.
