My pain is on the lower left side same feeling you are describing. I call the nurse and she said that is the last part they removed my stomach so that it was normal.

I had that pain for the first 6 weeks post surgery. My doc said it is where the most cutting is done and where they removed the stomach. 3 months out now and no discomfort at all and am back to full activity! Hang in you are doing great and will improve with each passing day!!
