What Nsvs Are You Looking Forward To?

Recommended Posts

A new year and a new body! My goal for 2013 is to drop 100lbs! But I'm also really looking forward to some of those non-scale victories, even if they take a little longer. Here's some items from my wishlist:

- No more squeezing into tiny bathroom stalls! Though I swear some of them have the TP dispenser at the worst place possible to really CRAM your legs in there!

- Going to a clothing store and not having to search for the "plus" side.

- Not having my knees grinding under my weight when I go up and down stairs.

- Wearing a swimsuit that doesn't have a freaking skirt attached

- Wearing dresses and not having my thighs rub together til they're raw

- Boots! I want a pair of freaking BOOTS!

- I want guys to try and pick me up. Not that they'll get me (I'm married), but it'll make me feel sexy. :)

What are some goals everyone else has -- crazy or non??

Started the year at 5'6" 373lbs, I was sleeved on June 5 this year. I'm currently 219.

Here is a small list of the nsv's I've hit so far

Ran a 5k with my teenage son

Don't have to use the handicap potty in public restrooms

Sit comfortably in a booth at a restaurant

Don't have to hold my breath to tie my shoes

My kids can hug me and touch hands behind my back for the first time in their lives

I can buy clothes off the rack in almost any store now

I have unsubscribed to casual male xl

Got down to the weight I was when I got married 17 years ago

Doctor took me off all of my bp meds

Skinny sex is more fun

Nsv's I'm still looking forward to

Throwing my clap machine off a cliff that I had just climbed!

Rock climbing. Even if it's just a rock wall, still not sure if I'm ready to try, but I wanna

Being able to do 10 real chin ups

10k

Good luck,

If I can be successful at this, trust me, anyone can

* Never, ever, ever again shopping at Casual Male Big and Tall. I'm tall, but many regular stores sell tall clothes now. And let's be honest, 99% of my fellow customers at Casual Male were not in the tall category.

* Not worrying about whether a restaurant booth will fit.

* Never breaking another resin lawn chair.

* Skinny sex sounds fun. I guess I could have started that sentence at "sex." :)

* Taking my CPAP machine (also now know by me as my "CLAP" machine) and hitting it with a hammer.

Getting sleeved tomorrow, January 8!!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
