Help With Pre Op Plan

I live in Saudi Arabia and don't see my doctor again until the week before my op. things are done differently here and I am interested in why and what you have been told to do pre op. all suggestions welcome.

I only had to do a two day cleanse. Liquid diet, and since I can't tolerate the laxative my Dr gave me, i used a laxative i bought in pill form in mega doses, 4 pills three times a day. That did the trick.
