Well I haven't gotten too much (just found out Monday that my surgery date is 12/4) but I plan on getting or have gotten:

  • Protein Powder
  • Jello (S/F)
  • Journal (Never kept one before, but decided now would be a good time)
  • Vitamins (chewable multi and small B complex and calcium)

To add to your list :)

Thank Jesse! Soo excited for your upcoming surgery!! Good luck!

I went shopping this weekend for my pre-op liquid diet phase. I bought:

  • cream soups (chicken, mushroom, broc & cheese - all will need to be strained)
  • AdvantEDGE Protein Shakes
  • G2
  • Campbell's Squash Bisque - SO SO GOOD
  • Chicken Broth
  • Flintstone Vitamins
  • Gas X strips for the hospital
  • So much Jello
  • Pudding

A friend at work also talked me into signing up for Juice Plus supplements. I'm certain that these will help with my recovery and prevent hair loss. I feel like I'm forgetting to get something!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Iron and chap stick is on my list as well....I was told chap stick for the hospital was a must have.
