Do you experience 'slime' after fills?

Hi, I have had two fills now. My band is only at 2.2cc's. After I recieve a fill, for several weeks I will have excessive saliva and 'slime' after each meal (which is about 1/2 - 1 cup). I have to PB, but its only the 'slime' that comes out - all the food will stay. After several weeks, this stops. Does this happen to anyone else? Why does this happen? :)

I just had my 5th fill and am now up to 2.2 in a 4cc band. I have noticed that I'm having a lot more of the sliming thing than I've ever had. The food does stay down but it's like I'll slime for half an hour or more (last time it was closer to 2 hours). Not after every meal or anything like that, but just several times a week.

Thanks for the reply - the 'sliming' is start to slow - I wish I knew why this happens after fills. I understand that if you eat too much you will slime, but I was eating one spoonful and sliming about a cup - with a golf ball feeling stuck in my throat. I feel better knowing Im not an alien. It was scary losing 15lbs over the course of 2.5weeks but everything is looking better now and I can eat a little more.
