Hello All,
I'm in Texas and looking into the Doctors in the DFW area.
I'm still on the fence about all of this. I guess I'm just SCARED:eek: . SCARED :omg: that spending ALL this money (self pay) and the surgery and I will continue to eat.
I've done Weight Watchers, you name it a hundred times and do well then fail. I'm sooo scared that I might do the same thing here. But it would feel good to be *full*:hungry: and not WANT more food.
Anyway my question:
I'm 50, on High blood pressure meds, Lipitor. Anyone with the about the same health before lapband? What types of tests did you have to do? About how much?
There is one Doctor in the Wichita Falls, Texas area that makes you go to counseling for a month or more, all types of test and then go back to counselling every week for 6 months. I live 75 miles from there and the same distance from larger cities. I can't be away from work that many times.
Any help?
