Someone please help!

I'm not sure if I am in the right place to ask this question or not, but... I had gastric bypass surgery fifteen years ago. About a year and a half ago I had to have it reversed due to life threatening complications. I have gained almost all my weight back post wls and wondered if anyone knows if it would be possible for me to get a lapband now. I would truly appreciate any insight that anyone could give me.

Sincerely...

I'm no expert, I didn't even realize you could have gastric bypass reversed! Saying that, there are surgeons who will do a lap-band after a bypass, but you really need to speak to a surgeon.

Dr. Ariel Ortiz does lapband surgeries after bypass. You might do a google search to find his website and start reading there. My cousin has the same situation as you, and she's considering doing the lapband. Good luck to you.
