Pre- Diet

One month away from surgery and am looking for things I should be doing now to prepare..I started the shakes twice a day and then started over eating because I knew the day was coming that I was going to start the two week diet..I wanted to start dieting a month before ..and will be starting tommorow ..my surgeon only required two weeks of the pre diet..but I wanted to start now..I don't drink water and have staarted drinking a lot of water so I don't go into it dehydrated..any other tips ..I can do now so I am ready..?..I didn't have to do a 6month diet or loose any weight first..it only took me 2 months with my insurance so I'm just wondering..thanks for any tips or advice

I know your ready to get started! I was also. My advice would be start eating high protein low carb but don't burn yourself out on liquids to soon. You will have plenty of time with that. Start walking and get plenty of water. It wil be here before you know it.

Hi Aliasmith... I can relate. It took my insurance 3 months but Dr only has me on a 1 week liquid diet. I started today as my sleeve is next Wed. I feel a little confused as well. Not sure what about just overwhelmed I guess. Good luck girl!
