Cookbook

I was searching for ideas for post-surgery diet and came across this cookbook on Amazon for about $10. Not that I loved all the recipes, but it started me thinking how to alter some favorites to suit my needs and stay on plan. It progresses from liquids to pureed etc.

Figured I would share.

I really like this cookbook, and made several recipes to get me through the puree phase. We made them, pureed the heck out of them, and poured them into ice cube trays to get 1 oz cubes out of them. The chicken and mushroom soup is great, as is the chicken beau sejour (similar to the soup in flavor), the pot roast, and beef stroganoff. I was not a fan of the tomato basil soup.
