Pb's and Vomiting

Hello, I was banded on May22nd started out at 215 now I am 188. I am very pleased with my weight lose. I have had 2 fills. 1.5 each time. So I have a 10cc band 3cc full. Anyhow, I have a problem , just about every time I eat I through it back up. Its not like it comes from my stomach though, its like sitting in my esophugus, at least thats how it feels. I start out with major chest pain then once I get sick I feel a whole lot better. I work in a hospital and have been told this is not normal to get some saline taken out but see before the fills I was loosing nothing, now I am so happy its coming down. I told my surgeon he said he thinks I am tring to eat to much and to fast to big of bites. I don't really no cause not a day goes by that I don't get sick. My omd put my on asiphex to protect my throat but I notice no diffrence. I was just wondering if anyone is exsperiencing the same thing.

Thanks for listening!!

Thanks for the information and no I will not be going for a fill. I did call my doctor and the nurse did not seem to alarmed when I told her I was getting things stuck all the time. She just said come in for another fill if I wasn't losing any weight. I don't know what to do so I'll just go with what my body is telling me and that is no more fills until I can eat without pbing. I did eat some tuna and cottage cheese the A.M. and it worked out great! Also ate some cereral Shredded Wheat and it also went down fine although I ate it so slow that the milk was room temp before I finished it.

I would publicly like to say that I am so sorry for the way my post concernings PB and vomiting sounded. It was not meant to be sarcastic or unkind. I was only worried about her. Maybe my southern Darling came off as sarcastic but what can I say I'm from the South and it was meant as an eadearment. And the education on chewing part was only to meant that her Dr. needs to explain chewing to herfurther. I am sorry if anyone felt I was harsh or not supportive.:phanvan

Darling, that sounds like you need a slight unfill and some education on chewing. I'm not trying to be ugly but if you are that scared to eat then something needs to give. You need to talk to your Dr. Good Luck!

I lived in the South for 20 years and this is another thing they say Bless Your Heart....Good luck to you as well

Well I don't have a slippage and it wasn't food poison but a bug. The whole family have all gone down with it.
