Called insurance to check on my status and it haven't been submitted! Called the coordinator she just told me the surgeon QUIT!! I blame myself because he quit when he was in Virginia but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt! Then I tell my sister who says well u can lose weight on your own!! I'm so angry!

UGH....was he the only surgeon in the practice? I'd be calling another bariatric center. Don't give up! Call your insurance company and find another bariatric surgeon in-network near you.

And don't get too upset with your sister.....she doesn't get it!!

There is another sugeon but he has bad reviews about his bedside manner and I've talked to several people about him and I just don't want to go down that road. I was gonna change surgeons 2 months ago and I should have then..I just felt something wasn't right! The one that I was gonna change to called me personally a month ago. So now I'm in the process of getting all my records.

Good luck with everything. I had decided to get the surgery and then found out that my insurance does not cover bariatric. I was devistated, but told myself I would find a way, now I am paying out of pocket wich kind of stinks, but my life is worth it to me.

Good luck on things and don't give up.
