You are right ahead of me! Best of luck

Congrats on getting a date! It will be here soon!

I definitely recommend Gas-X strips. They have been a lifesaver. In the hospital I was also really glad to have brought a pair of slippers. I didn't use much else, I slept most of the time that I wasn't up walking. I tried books/tv a couple of times, but I couldn't concentrate on either of them.

Thanks Leah' date=' where are you from? Have any good advise? Today I bought chewable gas tablets and biotene mouth spray as I heard others talk about dry mouth and gas[/quote']

I am from Washington state. Not much advice as i am pre-op as well but while you are waiting for your date to come up try to kick any bad eating habits and stay active pre-op so your body will be prepared to heal faster. My mom had WLS years ago and one thing she has stressed to me was to get up and walk right away when you wake up from surgery. She has told me this probably every time we have discussed my surgery, lol.
