July 31 Is The Day

My surgery is tomorrow. I've been attempting to explain the liquid diet to my 2 tots and it has been difficult. The doc gave me the reasonable expection that I maybe out of commision for at least 5 days. My spouse has been unsupportive in the whole process and I think will do anything to hinder me.

For anyone that has had surgery, how long were you out of commision and were you able to take care of your kids? I don't have help and am a stay at home mom.
