Hello all! I know there have been a few threads on NYers, and there is a NY group so I know there are a lot of us out there! I think it would be a fantastic idea to form a support group/meetup for us NYC area folks. I was looking to find a support group type meetup not affiliated with a specific doctor in the NYC area and couldn't, so I thought it would be nice if us sleevers could form something of our own!

We could try to plan a meetup sometime and maybe every few months do something- so we could all get together, discuss our journey etc. Maybe a picnic type get together in a park and everyone could feel free to bring something Sleeve friendly to eat. Or we could find something non food specific to do- the point it to get us all together! All are welcome, pre op, post op- I'm pre op myself and won't be sleeved for a few months.

Is there anyone interested in this idea?
