It just does! I am in the spiral and I think I've got it stopped, but it's a lot more daunting to face losing it AGAIN

I'm wondering the same as the person above me... I don't know your stat's or where you are in the process of this. If you are supposed to be in maintenance then my suggestion is "back to basics" for awhile. Water, Vitamins, Protein. Stop when you hit your mins and make sure to exercise!

If you are still in the process of losing, then I would think it is most likely water weight or muscle.
