So today I went for my upper GI, xrays, and sonogram. The first thing that goes wrong is that the sonogram tech tells me that I am not big enough for WLS. Thanks, but no thanks. Please keep your opinions to yourself. My current BMI is 34.4 and has been much higher.
Then, the Upper GI was awful! Yuck! After the test the doc tells me that I have really bad reflux and I should talk to my doc bc WLS will make it worse. Well, funny thing is I NEVER experience heartburn or reflux, ever! It was probably me gagging the whole time during the test that showed the "reflux" issue.
Ahhh, also.... my pulmonary function test shows my lung age as 45 years old... I'm 29! So does that mean I failed???
Im scheduled for surgery in the DR, but have been having tests done here in the US.
Bloodwork tomorrow. Lets see how that turns out...
