Best Nsv Ever - Made My Day!

  • Popular Post

I am sure many of you that are further along on our journey have had a friend or family member call you "skinny" as a sweet compliment to your weight loss. It has happened to me a couple of times over the past year. Well, I knew I was far from it still but I just smiled and said "Thank you".

Well, yesterday morning on the way to church, I was riding in the back seat with my 4 yr old (not normal) and commented how much room there was back there now. My son, as with most kids at this age, is brutally honest. He stated that I fit so well because I was SKINNY.

Skinny? Me? Really? Wow, it is so awesome that my son sees me like that way. I am not the fat mom any more. Yay!!

Well you know when it comes from a kid it's official. So congrats and continued success.

  • That is so cute!! That's great!! I asked my son the other day (the brutally honest 9 y.o.) if I look any different now, and he's was like "oh ya- like....WAY!"

  • I love it! Yeah, a four-year-old will simply call it as he sees it! You are offically skinny! LOL!

Thanks everyone. It's great. I still have a little ways to go but this has been one of the best decisions I ever made.

I know that feels so great to hear! A few weeks ago as I was driving and had my arm out on the steering wheel, my 12 year old son said "your arm is so tiny!" You are right that it does make it even that much better when our kids are noticing. Keep up the great work!

I have a friend that was sleeved two weeks after me, we called each other SB and SB2. Our surgeon told us we needed to get that SB attitude to be successful.

Love this!!!

I was called a "skinny b*tch" by a girlfriend (who knows I've been sleeved) and it made my day too! (Because it was all in fun, but I have NEVER been called that my whole life!)
