Anyone suffering from allergies? Today I have a headache, Im puffed up, (like water retention), and my throat is itchy, generally feel kinda yucky. Anyone else suffer from allergies? Can we take clariton? or is like advil or one of those drugs we are not suppose to take.

hey cloe, I suffer terribly this time of year. I take loratin. Dr. mumford says its ok. hope this helps! I get the "no name" at walmart, its cheaper.

Hey Cloe,

It was nice to see you check in with the May Bandsters!

To answer your question, I was on Claritin before my Surgery and my surgeon didn't have any problems with it. I switched to liquid Zyrtec because the Claritin pill was huge and couldn't be crushed. That would be my only concern about taking Claritin. I am not sure if I could get a pill that big down even now.

The funny thing is that after losing about 30 pounds I no longer need to take any allergy meds. Weird!

allergies are bad this time of year around here (MI) its the dang rag-weed

i can tell the minute i go outside this time of year my eyes start watering and itching,

my daughter takes the liquied zrytec it works really really well for her.

Thanks for your help guys!! I think my allergys are the reason I'm kinda stuck. Last week I was debating on getting my rings sized smaller, this week I'm so puffed up I can barely get them off. I think that is some kind of water rention? I'm hoping the meds will help. Thanks again guys!! :scalesno:
