Potential Hospital Strike....seriously?!?!

Hello all! Last Friday I received my approval from Medica tor surgery...YAY!! Top news story this morning is that the support staff part of SEIU will be voting today and tomorrow if they will strike, and of course my hospital would be affected. I hope the strike is voted down or can be avoided...I just don't want to get a surgery date, do the pre-op diet and then have to reschedule because of a strike.
