After the nervous waiting and the pushing back of my surgery date.. I GOT APPROVED!!!! Surg set for June 28th! WISH ME LUCK!!!!! :D

    I also have BCBS of NJ and a BMI of 36. My comorbites are High Cholesterol and GERD. Do you think I will have a problem getting approved? Also what was it like dealing with BCBS NJ..what did they require from you to get approved? Thank you.

    I have NJ Direct BCBS... My approval sailed thru on the 1st try. I think my BMI just made 40 or 41 exactly & I have HBP.
