Spinich Or Turnip Greens

I am craving spinich. When I go to mushy stage is spinich or turnip greens exceptable? Even canned spinich sounds good right now. lol

You might could blend it up a little? The only thing is, it doesn't probably have much protein, but it certainly shouldn't be a lot of carbs or calories. If I was craving it, then I'd most likely have a little considering it's healthy type food.

I think spinach and greens might be a little too tough on mushies, but they would be fine once you hit solid foods. I eat cooked spinach and cooked collard greens at least once a week. Be careful if you're still on blood thinners, though. The greens increase the actions of the blood thinners. :)

I had a spinach craving, too. Must need the iron. I cooked a bag of baby spinach (reduced down to about one cup) and LOVED it. No problem digesting whatsoever. Good luck!
