Pre-op Menu

Hi Everyone...

I am just curious what everyone else uses as a menu for their pre-op menu (if you are required to do so by your doctor)..

This is mine (per my nutritionist):

730am: sugar free Carn Instant Breakfast and 8oz 1% milk, piece of fruit

1030am: CIB

1230: Healthy Choice Vegetable Soup

330pm: CIB

630pm: 2 CIB and piece of fruit

830pm: sugar free Jello snack

Multivitamin and Calcium every day, and 2-3 oz chicken breast two to three times per week.

I'm on it now....I'm supposed to be on Optifast. It's not so bad taste-wise, but it's only an 8oz drink 6x a day!!!!!

(I'm so hungry I can eat a small child!)

Tonight I may mix an OptiFast with skim milk and ice and make a shake!!!! Wow - I'm living now!

My dietician also mentioned that I can substitute a "Lipton Cup-Of-Soup" for an Optifast but to be careful as they are very high in sodium.

I have one week to go before surgery!
