I have been through my six months of dieting, labs and everything...I had my bariatric doctor submit everything to BCBS of Florida State Plan. I am worried that I am going to get approved. There is no reason for me to get denied but I have the jitters. My worry is that they wont approve the sleeve procedure. I know that the approve for gastric bypass but that is not something I want to do. Is there anyone else that has had vertical sleeve surgery where BCBC of Florida paid for it??????

you can call the insurance company and give them the CPT code 43775 and find out if they cover the sleeve
