Oh good for you fella... that pesky BMI eh?

I had an interesting converstion with my doctor (not my sleeve surgeon but he doesn't agree with the BMI chart) this morning... she told me that if I got to a BMI of 25 I would be too thin and it wouldn't really benefit my health or my 'looks'... so, now that both my doc and my surgeon agree I feel that a weight has been lifted off the BMI thing. What was good to hear is that they both agree that I should aim for a weight of around 10st 7lb- 11 stone - 147lb- 154lb - which is a really good feeling. I am soooo close...

I am waiting to see your goal post, 'cos I have a feeling that it will be here very soon!!

I wish all of us could get together in a stadium somewhere, and have a superbowl half time spectacle - dancers, airialists, bands, and each of us that reached goal could run through the giant hoop and break through the image of our fat selves as we run into the center of the celebration. Reaching goal is AT LEAST AS IMPORTANT as playing the superbowl. You WON the rest of your life back - as a healthy person. Congrats on enjoying the fruits of your labor. You look GREAT.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
