Wonderful lunch!

Today I was a little nervous going out to eat with my co workers, I am 3 weeks out since surgury, doing really well. We went to Luby's which is like a cafeteria style. I had mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, and beans. I had maybe a about 2 tablespoons of each and did fine. I get nervous eating now, especially not being at home, but so far so good. I'm loving this site, thanks for sharing your ideas!

Great job! I'm also a little nervous about going out with work friends, we usually go to a Mexican restaurant and I know it's going to kill me to avoid the chips/salsa. However, I know I can have refried beans with a drizzle of queso and I'm looking forward to that. :)

I am so worried about eating out. Im used to ordering the heftiest meal on the menu and pigging out its gonna be a big change. Maybe two stuffed mushroom appetizers from red lobster instead of the captains feast.
