hi. my surgery is being scheduled in sept. i cant wait. is there much pain after surgery?:clap2:....this is my first time on. i heard about it through the support groups that i attend at my hospital

    Marie I think you will do fine with your band surgery.... I was only out of work 1 week and after a couple days the pain was so much better and you just start feeling great when you think about all the weight your losing!! I did need a heating pad on my side and I slept in my husbands recliner for several days...everyone has different experiences but over all I think it is a quick recovery time for most!!
