4 Month Update!!

Hello Fellow SLEEVERS!!!

Its been just over 4 months since I had VSG in Mexico! This journey has been very kind to me thus far and I must say that I have made the most amazing decision for myself and Im so glad that I did this!!!!

4 months ago I was 214lbs and losing much of my self esteem as a young woman. Im 22 years old and I really felt ashamed of my appearance. I felt like I was a burden in my relationship with my husband because I was very insecure about myself even though he is one man in my life that I can trust with anything! I was wearing size 16 pants and size XL shirts, some of which were getting pretty tight :( HOWEVER>>>> I had VSG and since then there have been many changes!!!!

TODAY I am 158lbs and wearing a size 8/9 in pants and size S/M in shirts depending on the stores!!! All i want to do is get together with my friends and husband and do things that normal 20 somethings do :D I feel as though Im slowly building up my self esteem and I know that my husband loves that my confidence is also building!!!

I am so grateful that I stumbled upon this procedure and decided on going through with it!! I hope that anybody who is truly thinking of a permanent way to weightloss gives this a consideration... because it has been an amazing tool in helping me!!!

Losing.it.in.2011---> To be quite honestly I have been playing by the rules about 85-90% of the time! ... I eat my proteins first, then veggies and carbs last.. but LIFE HAPPENS and I have not been crazy eating bad foods but if there is a function I will treat myself... I started out eating about 1/4cup of food at a time but now I think Im up to 2/3 cup of food now.. I always pay attention to my full signals and can truthfully say I have NEVER had nausea post op after eating foods.. and I think its because of that diligence... Also, I try hard to do physical activity to help tighten and shrink problem areas but I would have to say that has been sporadic at best... I really should be more committed to that... But, thats pretty much it... Just live your life and make decisions that will be Healthiest for you... My new philosophy after surgery was if I can only eat small amounts of food then it needed to be healthy food so that my body wasnt deficient in anything.. at least to the best of my ability AND last but not least I really just try to not graze/snack between meals to eliminate unwanted foods in my body
