At the top right hand corner, you will see a little box with a magnifying glass off to the side. If you'll type in "hair loss", it will pull up every thread/topic that discussing hair loss and you can read many people's experiences. A lot of have repeated the same post. I do it because I know it's nice to hear, but if you want to get a lot of veterans and people that don't post anymore, I suggest using the search feature. There's tons of Hair loss topics on the forum. It's the most popular discussion next to gas, poops, and how terribly miserable the 3 week stall is for post-opers.

I am currently losing hair! I started at about 2 or 2.5 months out. I am now about 3.5 months out and it hasn't stopped. I am starting to worry! You can see how thin my hair is now! I started with thin hair, so now its super thin. I usually pull it back, and there are spots now where you can practically see my scalp. It's very depressing, but if I could go back and redo things, I would do the surgery all over again!

It stops! Mine is growing in, and that is more annoying because I have little teeny hairs popping out of my scalp. But my butt looks good in jeans. Worth it!

Anna

I would say I lost 2/3 of my hair. I am lucky that I had really thick hair to begin with.

I took Biotin from the first day I thought I might have sugery and I am still taking it.

I also take a special hair and nails Vitamin.

I got my Protein in over and above what was required from day one

I used all sorts of special shampoos, including nioxin and biotin shampoo. Nothing I tried made any difference at all. I kept losing it until recently.

I have new hair coming in all over the place. My hair looks like it's layered from all the new growth coming in at different times.

From what I have read and been told, this is all perfectly normal. I do know some people who did not lose as much as I did, but they still lost hair mostly from 3-4 months until about 9 months post op.I read a lot of articles about it, and there is really nothing you can do to stop it.

I started losing at abot 3 months, and I had really thin hair to start with, so I wasreally worried! Now nearly 6 months out it has slowed down to nearly nothing, and I am starting to grow horrible little hairs! But, as Anna pointed out, my butt looks good in jeans too,and I'm loving it :P
