Protein Bars

I completely forgot that I had received protein bars from my bariatric center. I was able to start eating them this week and I wont lie, they're pretty tasty. The company is called Proti but I haven't yet checked to see if they have a website. The bars have 15g of protein and I think 4g of sugar, and I would assume they come in different flavors. I have the chocolate caramel nut bars. Good source of protein for those of you that, like me, can't stomach the protein shakes.

WHEW, those little boogers have half my daily allotment of carbs during my losing stage. . . I know some people don't watch carbs closely, but I figured if I could eat a protein bar, my body should be able to handle some blended meats with eggs or cheese to get the same amount of protein without the carbs. At least, they taste yummy ! ! ! Most of them taste like cardboard.

Premier protein bars are pretty good. I was impressed!!!

30g protein, 10g sugar, total carb 24g a little high on the carb and sugar, but my Bariatric coordinator said the rule of 10's no more than 10g of fat and 10g of sugar.
