It's official!!! My surgery date has been set!

:clap2: Well I did it, I am set for surgery!!:biggrin1: My date is June 27th. My labs, classes, and all the other stuff is finished!:clap2: I am ready to go. Just wanted to let you know, how happy I am. For the longest time I thought nothing good would happen for me, and for once it did. My surgery is same day also. Would love to hear form you about pain and what to expect after. THANKS!:) :eek:

Congrats on the date. I know that feeling of elation and dread at the same time.

I personally had little pain. NO GAS PAINS. Just a little from the incisions that was gone in a couple of days. I just was tired for the first week.

What I did that I would do differently is not run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to find protien drinks. I spent lots of money trying to decide which I would like to have. Within one week I was getting the Protein I needed from the normal stuff I consumed. Just remember you are only on liquids a short time after surgery. Usually within 2 - 3 weeks you will be on mushies.
